Martin J. Solomon is the principal of Solomon & Relihan, P.C., a Phoenix, Arizona, firm that handles only nursing home cases. He represents families across Arizona whose relatives were harmed or died because of abuse, neglect, malpractice or unsafe conditions in long-term care facilities.

Solomon has litigated civil cases in Arizona for decades, beginning as a personal injury lawyer before his practice narrowed to elder abuse and neglect. His case work centers on reviewing medical and facility records and investigating staffing, policies and supervision. He co-wrote The Nursing Home Survival Guide: Getting Better Care in Arizona’s Nursing Homes with Danielle R. Solomon, and in July 2025 he submitted written testimony to the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging on nursing home abuse and neglect in Arizona.

A past president of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, Solomon has also served on the board of the Arizona Center for Disability Law. He earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Arizona and is admitted to practice in Arizona.
