Alan LeVar is a personal injury attorney and the namesake of Levar Law Injury & Accident Lawyers, an Arkansas firm established in 2013 with offices including Arkadelphia, Little Rock and Conway. He represents people hurt in car, truck and motorcycle crashes, families in wrongful death cases, and victims of premises liability and amusement park accidents.
LeVar has practiced law for more than 20 years. Before moving exclusively into personal injury work, he served as a deputy prosecuting attorney and then a public defender, and the firm describes him as a former judge, prosecutor and defense attorney. He has been lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials, and the firm reports he has obtained more than $59 million in verdicts, settlements and judgments. For the past decade he has concentrated on motor vehicle collisions, and he wrote “There Are No Accidents, Only Collisions,” a guide for people injured in tractor-trailer crashes.
He studied at Brigham Young University and graduated from law school at the University of Arkansas in 1996. He has taught classes on motor vehicle collision law for the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, is a member of that group and the American Association for Justice, and serves as city attorney for Amity, Arkansas.
