Britany M. Engelman is the founder of Engelman Law, a boutique firm in Beverly Hills, California. She represents people in personal injury matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic and brain injuries, auto accidents, premises liability and civil rights claims, and she handles employment cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation.

Engelman started her career as a defense attorney and then spent five years as a senior associate at The Cochran Firm in Los Angeles before opening her own practice. She has served as lead counsel in many jury trials, and in 2022 she was part of the trial team that won a $25 million verdict for an educator wrongfully fired by a public school district, a case in which the pretrial offer was zero. She earned bachelor’s degrees in international relations and French from the University of Southern California and her law degree from Southwestern Law School, where she was a John J. She was named a Super Lawyers Southern California Rising Star from 2012 to 2019 and a Super Lawyer from 2020 to 2025, and CAALA nominated her for Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2019 and 2021.
