Robert D. Jarchi is a partner at Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP in El Segundo, California, where he has practiced since 2000. He represents families and individuals in wrongful death, wildfire, environmental and catastrophic injury cases, including people who lost relatives or homes in the Eaton Fire.

Jarchi was among the first attorneys to file a wrongful death suit against Southern California Edison over the Eaton Fire, and the firm reports that he represented the families of every person who died in the Woolsey Fire. He is also working with local counsel on behalf of people harmed by the Lahaina fires on Maui. Earlier, he was lead counsel in mass tort litigation over groundwater contamination in Hinkley, California, and he represents people with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma who used Roundup weed killer.

His results include a $33 million jury verdict in Gousse v. Budget Rent-A-Car Corporation and the City of Los Angeles, a $7.9 million fraud verdict against Circle K Stores and a $4.7 million verdict for the family of an electrocuted farm worker. In 2023 he secured settlements of $49 million and $45 million, both confidential. Jarchi earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA in 1996 and his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1999.
