Meet Mohamad
Mohamad Ahmad is a founding partner of Kermani LLP, a plaintiffs’ firm with an office in Santa Monica, California. His practice is now focused mainly on catastrophic personal injury litigation, and he has handled multimillion-dollar cases in state and federal courts in California, Georgia, Texas, Nevada, Illinois and several other states.
In 2023, Ahmad obtained a $51.3 million verdict in Monterey County that the firm describes as a record for the county. Earlier in his career, he served as lead defense counsel in federal cases brought by health insurers against clinical laboratories and medical providers. He was named the first Gerry Spence Method Civil Trial Lawyer of the Year and teaches at Trial Lawyers University.
Ahmad earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, and he was a judicial extern for U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer of the Central District of California. He is admitted in California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada and New York and speaks Arabic and Spanish.
