I have devoted my life and career to helping injured people rebuild their lives.

Carter Mario is the founder and president of Carter Mario Injury Lawyers, a personal injury firm based in his hometown of Milford, Connecticut. He has practiced law in Connecticut for more than 39 years, representing people hurt through the negligence of others, and he is licensed in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Mario attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a wrestling scholarship, earning a degree in industrial relations, and received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in Florida. He returned to Milford to open his practice in a single-room office; the firm now has offices across Connecticut and in Springfield, Massachusetts. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Mario supports community organizations through the firm’s CarterCares outreach program. He and his wife have three children, two of whom, Alex and Luke, practice with him at the firm.
