Garrett Biondo is the founding attorney of The Biondo Law Firm, P.A., a Coral Gables, Florida, trial firm that handles catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases statewide. His practice covers personal injury, maritime and cruise ship claims, aviation accidents, product liability, negligent security and wrongful death, and he has tried dozens of injury cases to verdict in Florida courts.
A second-generation Florida lawyer and Miami native, Biondo studied finance at The University of Texas at Austin, studied economics at Cambridge University and earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. He left a larger firm in 2004 to open his own practice, which keeps a limited caseload and draws much of its work from attorney referrals.
Biondo is a past president of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association and of its Young Lawyers Section, served two terms on the Florida Justice Association board and led that group’s Young Lawyers Section. He is a member of the Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a past president of Legal Services of Greater Miami. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers, The National Trial Lawyers and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.
