The practice of personal injury law is my calling.

Spencer Aronfeld is the founder of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers in Coral Gables, Florida, and is board certified as a civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He represents injured people and families in cases against cruise lines, insurers, hospitals and large corporations, with a practice that includes cruise ship passenger injuries, car and truck crashes, slip and falls, defective products and dangerous medical devices.

Born in Chicago and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Aronfeld graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1991 and opened his firm the same year. In his first jury trial, an Orlando jury returned a $100,000 verdict for his clients against Walt Disney World after a pretrial offer of $1,200, a case later recounted in the book “Disney, the Mouse Betrayed.” He is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College and has returned there as faculty.

Aronfeld has been named a Florida Super Lawyer since 2006 and is an Eagle Member of the Florida Justice Association and a longtime American Association for Justice member who has served on several of its committees. In 2010 he founded Lawyers to the Rescue, a nonprofit that provides humanitarian and pro bono legal help, and he has written for AAJ’s Trial magazine.
