Elizabeth H. Faiella is a medical malpractice attorney and partner at Faiella & Gulden, P.A. in Winter Park, Florida. She has practiced law since 1976 and now devotes her practice entirely to medical malpractice claims on behalf of injured patients and their families.

Faiella earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1976 and was admitted to practice in Florida that December. She has been board certified in civil trial law by The Florida Bar since 1983 and received a 25-year certificate in 2008. She is also board certified in civil trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Earlier in her career, her jury trials involved claims ranging from medical negligence and automobile accidents to premises liability and excessive force by police officers. Her firm biography lists a $9 million settlement for the family of a 24-year-old father of three who died after emergency room physicians failed to properly diagnose and stabilize him following a cerebral aneurysm.

Faiella is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates and is a past chair of the Women’s Caucus of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She has taught and lectured on legal topics nearly 60 times, served on the Florida Bar Board of Civil Trial Certification Committee and contributed a chapter on voir dire in medical negligence cases to Women Trial Lawyers: How They Succeed in Practice and in the Courtroom.
