Jason Green

Jason Green is a trial lawyer based in Atlanta, Georgia, where he serves as Lead PI Attorney at Bader Law Injury Lawyers, representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. A former career prosecutor who tried dozens of serious felony cases, including more than 30 murder trials, he brings a prosecution-honed, trial-first approach to civil litigation. He has secured multiple seven-figure jury verdicts for injured clients across Georgia.

Jason Green grew up around the law. His father was a civil rights attorney who had practiced for the federal government, and though he had stepped back from law before Green was born, he remained a respected figure whom others turned to for counsel. Green watched courtroom dramas such as Perry Mason and L.A. Law with his father and entered law school expecting to become a lawyer, though not necessarily a trial lawyer. He earned his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as President of the Black Law Students Association and competed on, and later coached, the Moot Court Team. A mandatory first-year moot court competition proved a turning point: entering only because it was required, he advanced to the round of eight and discovered a natural aptitude for advocacy.

After law school, Green began his career doing legal work in Athens, Georgia, gaining early criminal experience before spending more than a decade as a prosecutor in some of Georgia’s busiest jurisdictions, including the DeKalb County and Clayton County District Attorney’s offices and Fulton County’s Major Case Division. He tried dozens of serious felony cases, among them more than 30 murder trials and death penalty prosecutions. One of the most demanding was a capital arson case in which a defendant set fire to a hotel, killing five people; working closely with the ATF and forensic experts, Green reconstructed the chain of events and secured a conviction. He credits those years, in which cases were often tried by ambush with little of the discovery that governs civil practice, with teaching him to build every case for trial from the outset and to think on his feet in the courtroom.

After an unsuccessful run for elected district attorney, Green moved into civil practice, spending roughly five years in insurance defense, where he learned firsthand how insurers evaluate and defend injury claims. Concluding that he wanted to represent injured people rather than defend against their claims, he built a plaintiff’s practice and did not return to the defense side. He went on to practice at firms including Morgan & Morgan before joining Bader Law Injury Lawyers as Lead PI Attorney at the beginning of 2026.

Today Green represents individuals and families in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases, approaching each matter as though it will be tried. In one case, he represented a working mother of three who was the sole caregiver for a bedridden husband and was seriously injured when her vehicle was T-boned, later suffering severe additional deficits after she flatlined during a medical procedure; by presenting the full human toll of her injuries on her and her family, he won a jury verdict on their behalf. In another, he represented a young professional fighter who was struck by an Atlanta police detective while riding a dirt bike, an injury that sidelined the athlete’s career for two and a half years. Overcoming a nuisance settlement offer and defense efforts to shift blame onto the injured man, Green tried the case and won a seven-figure verdict that allowed his client to buy a home and start a nonprofit serving troubled young men.

Green is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is known for a preparation-driven, truth-centered courtroom style, letting the facts of a case serve as his guide and building each file from the first day toward a possible trial. He remains committed to his clients and to the Atlanta community.
