Jason Plotkin is the CEO and managing attorney of the Pinder Plotkin Legal Team, a personal injury and workers’ compensation firm based in Baltimore, Maryland. The firm represents injured Marylanders in car, truck, motorcycle and rideshare crashes, dog bite cases, wrongful death claims and workers’ compensation matters. He has led the firm since 2017 and has handled more than 500 cases in Maryland courts over his career.

Plotkin’s approach is shaped by his own experience as an injury victim: he was seriously bitten by a dog as a child and later survived two serious car crashes that required surgery. Before joining the firm, he spent two years investigating insider trading in FINRA’s Office of Fraud Detection and Market Intelligence and four years representing broker-dealers in securities offerings. He earned his law degree with honors from Syracuse University College of Law in 2006, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA, both with honors, from the University of Baltimore.

He is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, has been named to Maryland Super Lawyers every year from 2020 through 2027 and is listed among The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff lawyers. He wrote the books Crash Course: To Recovery and Beyond and The Pickle, the Patch, and the Puppy, teaches continuing legal education programs through the National Business Institute and serves on the board of the Laurel Board of Trade.
