Brandon D. Henry is a partner at Wagstaff & Cartmell, LLP in Kansas City, Missouri, where he tries personal injury, product liability, medical device and professional negligence cases. He has tried more than 25 cases to verdict in state and federal courts.

In September 2026, Henry was lead trial counsel in the second bellwether trial of the Bard Implanted Port Catheter MDL, where a federal jury in Phoenix returned a unanimous $40 million verdict for a woman whose catheter fractured and lodged in her heart. It was the first plaintiff verdict in that litigation and the largest individual verdict in the firm’s history. He also led the first transvaginal mesh trial against Coloplast, winning a $2.5 million verdict, and he serves on the Bard MDL plaintiffs’ executive committee and the Depo-Provera MDL trial subcommittee.

Henry is a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a recipient of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Thomas J. Conway Young Trial Lawyer Award. He graduated cum laude from Washburn University in 2000, earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2003 and has taught as an adjunct professor there for more than a decade.
