Leonard H. Stone is a partner at Shook & Stone in Las Vegas, Nevada, representing seriously injured people and families in wrongful death cases. He has been a Nevada attorney since 1995 and has served as lead counsel in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving commercial truck crashes, pedestrian deaths, industrial accidents and dangerous property conditions, including claims against hotel-casinos, trucking companies, national retailers and insurers.

Stone started his career defending insurance companies, and he draws on that background to anticipate how insurers and defense counsel evaluate and try cases. Results listed on his firm bio include a $4.25 million recovery for the family of a pedestrian struck by a taxicab and a $2.25 million recovery for a pool chlorination injury that damaged a client’s lungs.

He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Brandeis University in 1991 and his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1995. Stone has served multiple terms on the Nevada Justice Association board and is the association’s president-elect for 2026-27. In the community, he has chaired the board of Jewish Nevada, served as president of the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada and chairs the Hebrew Free Loan Committee.
