Michael Valiente

Michael S. Valiente is a founding partner of Valiente Mott Injury Attorneys in Las Vegas, Nevada. He represents people injured in car and truck crashes, slip-and-fall incidents and other accidents, as well as families pursuing wrongful death claims.

Valiente spent the early part of his legal career defending insurance companies against catastrophic injury claims at an insurance defense firm before he and Timothy Mott launched their own practice for injured clients. His interest in plaintiffs’ work stems in part from a serious car accident he was in when he was young and the poor representation he received afterward. Before law school he worked for about a decade in Las Vegas residential and land real estate.

He graduated at the top of his class with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and again at the top of his class from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, where he received the James E. Rogers Scholastic Achievement Award and competed on the National Moot Court team. He was named to the Las Vegas Legal Elite in 2017. He speaks Spanish fluently and is licensed in Nevada and California.
