Peter Catalano is the founder of Catalano Law in Syracuse, New York, where he represents people across Central New York who have been hurt, and families who have lost someone, because of another party’s negligence. His caseload includes car and motorcycle crashes, wrongful death claims, premises liability, worksite injuries, dog bites, product liability and other catastrophic injury matters.
A Syracuse native, Catalano has spent close to three decades handling injury claims in the region, negotiating with insurers and litigating on behalf of injured clients. He earned his law degree in 1991 from Albany Law School at Union University after completing a bachelor’s degree at St. Bonaventure University in 1988. He has given a keynote address for the New York State Bar Association, spoken at Syracuse University’s law school and served as a guest lecturer at Colgate University.
Outside the office, Catalano sits on the boards of the DeWitt Fish and Game Club and Bridgeport Rod and Gun, competes in trapshooting and was the club’s 2016 High Gun Champion. He supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central New York, Multiple Sclerosis Resources of Central New York and Catholic parishes in Madison and Onondaga counties. He is married and the father of five.
