I attribute much of my success as a trial lawyer to growing up and working in the Lehigh Valley, where I learned the values of hard work, honor, and respect for others.

Mark K. Altemose is CEO and managing shareholder of Cohen, Feeley, Altemose, Berg & McKarski in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. He concentrates on personal injury and construction litigation, handling serious injury and death cases arising from vehicle, truck and motorcycle crashes, medical and pharmaceutical malpractice, construction accidents, gas and chemical explosions, defective products and mass torts.

Altemose has served as lead counsel in several prominent Lehigh Valley cases, including the Charles Cullen serial murder cases, the DePuy ASR hip implant litigation, the Allentown natural gas explosion and a Bushkill Township propane tank explosion. The firm credits him with verdicts of $95 million, $4.36 million and $1.5 million and a $20 million multi-plaintiff settlement. He is board certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is often chosen as a mediator and arbitrator in complex injury cases.

A native of Pen Argyl, he earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude from Lafayette College and his law degree from Villanova in 1990. He spent about a decade on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, was a founding director of its Auto Negligence Section, and served as president of the Donald E. Wieand Barristers’ Inn.
