When I take on a case, my client's problem becomes my problem, and I am driven to righting that wrong.

Jason Stephens leads Stephens Law Firm, PLLC, a Fort Worth, Texas, practice that represents people with serious personal injury claims and families in wrongful death cases, with a focus on trucking crashes. The firm also lists offices in Weatherford and Mineral Wells, and he limits his caseload to a select number of matters.

His bio reports nearly three decades of trial work and more than $300 million recovered for clients. In 2004 he won what Texas Lawyer ranked as the fifth-largest jury verdict in Texas and the National Law Journal ranked 47th nationally, and in 2012 he obtained the eighth-largest motor vehicle verdict in Texas. In 2022 he secured a wrongful death verdict the firm describes as the largest personal injury verdict in Grayson County, Texas, and an electrocution verdict that Top Verdict ranked first in the nation that year.

Stephens is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a past president of the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, and he has served on the Texas Trial Lawyers Association board. He holds a law degree and an MBA from Baylor and a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University, is licensed in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, and is a former officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
