Glenn W. Cunningham is a Texas trial lawyer and the founder of the Law Offices of Glenn W. Cunningham in San Antonio. He represents individuals throughout Texas in medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, and wrongful death cases.
Cunningham earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Texas in 1984 and his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 1990, where he was managing editor of the Baylor Law Review. He has been admitted to practice in Texas since 1990. He began his career in the health law section of Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston, later joined Mayor, Day, Caldwell & Keeton, and in 2001 moved to Maloney & Maloney in San Antonio to head its nursing home negligence practice. He formed his own firm in 2004.
The firm says he spent 10 years as a defense attorney for doctors and hospitals before representing patients and families, and that he keeps a low case volume so each client receives close attention. He is a past president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (2018) and the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association (2008) and has served on the executive committee of The National Trial Lawyers since 2012.
Cunningham has been named a Texas Super Lawyer since 2009, was listed among the Top 50 Super Lawyers in Central and West Texas in 2017 and 2018, and is a frequent speaker and author on medical torts and mental anguish damages.
