Meet Larry
Larry King is the founding attorney of Larry King Law in Newport News, Virginia. He represents people hurt in serious accidents, those with catastrophic injuries and families who have lost a loved one, and he also handles criminal defense matters for clients throughout Hampton Roads.
King earned his law degree from William & Mary Law School and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1974. He began his career as a state prosecutor before opening his own firm in 1980, and he has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia since 1977. He has served as legal counsel and adviser to the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai, has lectured and taught local college courses, and is recognized internationally as a martial artist.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and several local bar associations. The National Trial Lawyers has named him to its Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
