"My current focus is on Amazon and bring them to a point where they see that safety is good business."

Joseph A. Fried is widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of truck accident law. With a career spanning over three decades, he has dedicated himself to advocating for victims of catastrophic truck and bus crashes across the United States. His unique background as a former police officer, combined with advanced training in crash investigation, human factors, and storytelling, allows him to approach cases with a depth of understanding that few possess.

Joe’s commitment to justice is evident in his impressive track record, having recovered more than $1 billion for clients in over 35 states. He co-founded the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and played a pivotal role in establishing the National Board of Trial Advocacy’s Board Certification in Truck Accident Law, ensuring that attorneys handling such cases meet rigorous standards. His leadership extends to serving as the former Chair of the American Association for Justice’s Trucking Litigation Group and as the founding Chair of the National Board of Truck Accident Lawyers.

Beyond the courtroom, Joe is a dedicated educator and advocate. He has delivered over 600 presentations to legal professionals, law enforcement, and industry stakeholders, sharing insights on best practices in truck accident litigation. His contributions to the field have not only advanced legal standards but have also promoted greater safety on our nation’s roads.
