"I like just the aspect of helping others, but helping others with strategy. And that's what I really do enjoy even today is the strategy of a personal injury case."

Jon Groth has dedicated his legal career to advocating for personal injury victims across Wisconsin. A Milwaukee native, Jon’s roots in the community run deep—his father served as a city firefighter, and his mother worked in nursing homes. These early influences instilled in him a profound respect for hard work and public service.

After earning his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2000, Jon immersed himself in litigation, focusing exclusively on personal injury law. Over the years, he has handled a wide array of cases, including auto and motorcycle collisions, product liability, nursing home neglect, and animal attacks. His firm, Groth Law Firm, has been instrumental in securing significant verdicts and settlements, such as a $6 million verdict in a dog bite case and a $3 million settlement in a premises liability matter.

Jon’s commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for over a decade, holds a perfect 10.0 rating on Avvo, and is a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His peers have also honored him as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Wisconsin and among the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Beyond the courtroom, Jon is passionate about education and mentorship. He has served as an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University, teaching business law and management. An active member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association for Justice, Jon frequently lectures on the intricacies of personal injury law.

When he’s not advocating for clients or teaching, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. An avid runner and skier, he also volunteers at church and participates in various community activities, including swim meets and sporting events.
