"You have to tear those walls down and get right to the evidence."
Maggie Bopp’s path into trial advocacy was shaped by family, competition, and a steadfast dedication to justice. Raised with four brothers on Long Island, she honed her ability to mediate and lead from an early age—attributes that would guide her into law. A former Division I lacrosse athlete at Rutgers University, Maggie learned resilience and grit on and off the field. After earning her J.D. from Touro Law Center, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County for nearly thirteen years (2010–2023), where she prosecuted high-stakes vehicular homicides and complex cases involving intoxicated or distracted drivers.
Her prosecutorial work included catastrophic, emotionally charged cases—such as fatal crashes involving children, hit‑and‑runs, and drunk-driving fatalities. In the DA’s office, Maggie was known for her relentless investigative approach: drafting search warrants, pen‑ping suspects, reviewing cell‑phone and IVI data, and often responding to crash scenes herself. She earned the Suffolk County DA’s Trial Excellence Award (2020) and a MADD Recognition of Excellence (2016).
Now an associate at Rappaport, Glass, Levine & Zullo, LLP (since April 2023), Maggie brings her prosecutorial tenacity to plaintiffs’ personal injury work. From securing a $1.4 million jury verdict just weeks into her civil trials to handling complex hearings and trials, she treats each case with the same rigor and passion she did as a prosecutor. Maggie lives on Long Island with her husband and two daughters, balancing courtroom advocacy with teaching and community involvement.
