Scott Frost always knew he wanted to stand in a courtroom. That conviction began with a school play turned mock trial, where he first tasted the feeling of persuading a jury — and winning.

From that moment, Scott knew he’d be a trial lawyer.  What followed was a journey that combined military service, intensive trial training, and decades of fighting for those harmed by corporate negligence.

Raised in a family without college graduates, Scott charted his own course. He joined the U.S. Army through a special program that allowed him to earn a law degree and serve as a Judge Advocate. During his six years on active duty, Scott tried cases around the world, prosecuting and defending soldiers and ultimately serving alongside a U.S. Attorney’s Office in a federal capital murder trial. It was there — in a courtroom under pressure — that he learned the fundamentals of trial work: evidence, rules, tactics, and human empathy.

After leaving the Army, Scott dedicated himself to representing clients with terminal workplace illnesses, particularly those suffering from asbestos and benzene exposure. These are not simple injury cases. His clients are often facing the end of their lives. The stakes are high, and the timeline short.

His approach centers on listening. Truly listening. Whether he’s helping a grieving husband process guilt over secondhand exposure or fighting for a dying man to afford his first home for his wife’s security, Scott ensures each case is built around the client — not just the legal theory.

Over three decades, he has secured life-altering verdicts that have brought comfort, stability, and accountability. He’s also committed to developing trial lawyers, serving as faculty at Keenan Trial Institute and Trial Lawyers University.

Scott is a Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College graduate, one of the first active-duty JAGs to be accepted, and carries that training with him to every trial. He believes in constant growth and honest self-assessment—win or lose—and encourages others to find the lesson in every outcome. As he says, it’s not just about winning. It’s about showing up, prepared, every single time.
